2007 was a remarkable year for the council and our districts:

- A 3.9% gain in Cub Scouting
- An overall 1.1% gain in traditional membeship
- A 128% gain in Learning for Life
- Balanced budget
- Increase in direct contact leaders trained from under 18% to over 44%
- Great Scout-O-Rama and super Cub outdoor programs
- Increase in attendance at Camp Hi-Sierra and outstanding reviews from Scouts and Scoutmasters
- Over 200 Eagle Scouts
- Capital Campaign raised over $1.2 million for a new training center at Chesebrough
- 15 new James E West Fellows and $4.5 million added to the endowment in new and deferred gifts
Each of our districts met the criteria for the Centennial Quality Award and the Council as well.
